Further Study

As a graduate of the Bachelor of Environments you can continue your studies through an honours year, a graduate program or a research higher degree.

Honours

If you choose to major in Landscape Management or Environmental Geographies, Politics and Cultures, you will also have the option of completing an Honours year after your third year of study, which will include a research project. Selective entry into the Honours programs is based on your results at an undergraduate level.

Graduate Study at Melbourne

There are a number of pathways to graduate study at the University of Melbourne. The University offers over 340 different graduate programs ranging from professional entry degrees for students wanting to gain a qualification or change career path, to graduate professional development programs targeted at professionals interested in advancing their career opportunities.

Graduate Access Melbourne

An extension of the Access Melbourne scheme has been developed for applicants commencing graduate programs. A minimum of 20 per cent of the total designated number of Commonwealth supported places available in these graduate professional entry programs will be offered to eligible Graduate Access Melbourne applicants (please note that eligibility criteria differs from the undergraduate scheme).

In addition, up to 100 bursaries will also be awarded to eligible Graduate Access Melbourne applicants enrolling in the graduate professional entry programs. The one-off grant of $5000 is designed to support students in meeting the costs associated with graduate study.
